I tried this supplement for my 6-year-old boy, but he claimed it made him feel like he was going to throw up. So, I have no way of knowing if it would help him or not. I had high hopes for this product, but if he won’t take it, he won’t take it. He takes other vitamins just fine–multis, vitamin C, omega-3 and a similar product to this one by another manufacturer. I tasted it and couldn’t see what the big deal was. He usually isn’t picky. I wasn’t able to really elucidate if it was just the taste or the way the wafer made him feel. Hard to get a kid of this age to really pinpoint such things.

This is the only form of magnesium that we could find in tablet form. Be sure you order wafers if you are wanting a chewable. Tart flavor 2 wafers a serving for 75lbs. 2-3 for 75 to 125 lbs, over 125lbs need 3-4 and there is only 120 in the bottle. I can’t say anything to the marketing as attentive child, no noticable effects here, we just needed the magnesium.

This product works great! My 12 year old son had difficulty focusing in class (especially math). His homework in general took forever all through elementary school. It was hard to watch what took my daughter 15minutes to figure out took him almost an hour. I taught him good study habits and helped him along through the years. He went for extra help after-school with certain subjects. It still did not seem to click. One day, I read a review here by KATHYRN from texas (Thank you!!!). I had to consider this. Thank god this is a chewable. Yes he has to have 2 tablets a day. I saw a difference in 2 weeks. He was a good student then and now he is a great student (A to A+). His homework time has been cut down. I’m sure his focus in school is much better also because he rarely comes for my help anymore. Thank you amazon.

Attentive Child is absolutely amazing. It has worked wonders for my nine year old son. He increased his grades and is now speaking better as well. I give him this supplement along with Omega 3 and a junior multivitamin daily. He is no longer sluggish, sleeps through the night and is much more attentive in class as well as at home. He even engages more in conversation. I am convinced that this combination is also helping his delayed speech.
