I used to read Parenting when my children were babies and figured I would give their new magazine a try after seeing the promotion. I didn’t have huge expectations, was just expecting a quick read with some articles geared towards school age issues. That is pretty much what I got. Not that many articles have really stood out so far except one in the most recent issue on education and testing that I found interesting enough to save for a friend. Overall its ok and one of the few parenting magazines not about babies or toddlers. My biggest complaint is I received the first two issues back to back and one was for the month that had passed, the other for a month about to pass. I would have preferred receiving new issues instead of back issues.

I got this free somehow during a promotion. I have a 5 yr old daughter, and the magazine does occasionally give me some inspiration for craft ideas, ways to keep her entertained, and information on parenting. I do like to read thru it when it comes, but not sure how much I would pay for it if it hadn’t been free!
